The Foundation shall have an Executive Committee consisting of elected members.
The Executive
Committee shall be responsible for managing the affairs of the Foundation, organising events, and making decisions in the best interest of the community.
Elections
Elections for the Executive Committee shall be held every two years. All members in good standing shall have the right to vote and stand for election.
Duties and Responsibilities
Each member shall have specific duties assigned to them, and they shall collectively work towards fulfilling the objectives of the Foundation.
General Meetings
General meetings of the Foundation shall be held at least once a year. All members shall be notified in advance, and a minimum quorum of members must be present to conduct official business.
Extraordinary Meetings
Extraordinary meetings may be called by the Executive Committee or upon written request by at least six of the Foundation’s members. Adequate notice must be given to all members, specifying the purpose of the meeting.
The Foundation shall manage its finances through membership fees, donations, sponsorships, and
fundraising activities. All funds shall be used solely for the benefit of the Foundation and its
objectives.
Financial Records
The committee shall maintain accurate financial records and present an annual report to the
Foundation’s members.
Amendment Process
Any amendments to this Constitution may be proposed by the Executive Committee or by written request from at least one-thirds of the Foundation’s members. Proposed amendments shall be discussed and voted upon during a general meeting.
Approval
Amendments shall require a two-thirds majority vote of the members present at the general meeting for approval.
